Q: Can I pay by credit card?

A: Yes - all Visa and/or Mastercard payments are accepted. 

Q: Do you provide candles and a cake knife?

A: Yes - we provide candles and plastic cake knife – upon request only.

Q: Are all your cakes exactly as in the photos on your website?

A: All our cakes are handmade – Sometimes the cake you have received may differ from what was shown on our website. These discrepancies in designs and colours may occur in our cakes as our cakes are all handmade and lighting may affect the images.

Q: Are your cakes halal certified?

A: All our cakes are baked using halal ingredients and sourced from halal suppliers. Our cakes are all prepared in alcohol-free and pork-free environment. However we do not have halal certification as we are resident based.

Q: Will my confections be fine in the fridge overnight if I collect it the day before my event?

A: Yes - all of our cakes can be consumed within 24 hours after pick-up. We recommend you wrap the entire cake box in two layers of cling film before storing it in the fridge. This prevents the cake from drying out and from fridge odours from spoiling the cake. Bring the cake to room temperature before serving and keep it away from direct sunlight, heat or direct flame.

Q: How do I store my Nasi Lemak Cakes?

A: All Nasi Lemak Cakes and its add-ons are required to be stored at room temperature and consumed within 2 hours. This is to ensure freshness.

Q: How do I place my order?

A: You can place your order via our secure online shop at anytime via the eGHL payment methods. Just choose your preferred cake type, design, cake flavour (if applicable) and we'll look after the rest. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been accepted.

Q: Can I change my order once it has been placed?

A: Yes - you can change your order within three (3) days of its collection date. Email us your order confirmation number plus your required changes. We will confirm if your required changes are possible via an email back to you.

Q: What’s your cancellation policy?

A: We offer a refund should you cancel your order within seven (7) days of its collection date. Please note that there is a 30% order processing fee that is applicable and is not refundable. Refunds will take up to seven (7) days to be processed and we will notify you once the refund is completed.

Q: How far in advance should I book my cake? 

A: It’s best to place your order at your earliest convenience. We manage orders on a first come first served basis depending on our availability.

Q: I’ve left my cake to the last minute and the website says you are already booked out - is it possible to still place an order?

A: Yes - it may still be OK so check with us via email at orders.eatbakery@gmail.com and we will reply within 24 hours.

Q: Can a personalized message be included on my cake?

A: Sorry - we do not provide personalized messages on our cakes.

Q: I’ve seen a cake on your Instagram feed or online that I really like. Can you make something similar?

A: Yes, this can be done. Please WhatsApp text 014-9669075 with your desired design and we will revert to you within 24 hours. Please note that all our cakes are handmade, therefore, no two cakes will end up look exactly the same.

Q: Can you make a cake that uses fondant? 

A: Yes we can. Please WhatsApp text 014-9669075 with your desired design and we will revert to you within 24 hours.

Q: Do you make vegan cakes? How about gluten-free or sugar-free?

A: No - all our cakes contain flour, eggs, milk and butter and we are unable to substitute these ingredients in our recipes.

Q: Can you reduce the sugar contents in the cakes?

A: No - all our cakes of standard recipe and no alterations can be made.

Q: Do you deliver to homes or other venues?

A: Eats and Treats Bakery provides delivery services via third party vendors, such as GoGet, Lalamove, Borzo, GrabCar etc. We advise that you to schedule the delivery two hours prior to the event. We also recommend scheduling the orders to be delivered straight to the event venue to ensure the quality of your order is maintained as Eats and Treats Bakery will not be held responsible for any damages during transfers. Also please ensure that the receiver will be at the venue at the delivery time and proper storage is observed.
